Most Complete Book of Photo Gear

Tony and Chelsea Northrup have consistently shared their extensive knowledge about photography with their huge following on Youtube (among other places).

In the Photography Buying Guide, Tony and Chelsea cover the important bits you will want to consider when planning to purchase camera bodies, lenses, flashes, flash triggers, studio and portrait lighting, tripods, computers, gear to be used under water and a separate chapter for each of the main players in DSLRs, mirrorless and micro four-thirds (Nikon, Canon, Sony etc etc)
It is laid out in such a way that you can go directly to what you're curious about and the information is right there. Even if you have questions, you can ask Tony via email or through the various forums that you will gain access to once registered as a member.

I bought mine as an eBook through iTunes and to add to the value, I will receive updates forever at no extra cost. You won't find that arrangement anywhere else for photography books.

The videos that go with the book help to further illustrate the gear in question.

I love learning all I can about photography and I have never been disappointed with anything that Tony and Chelsea Northrup have created either in print or on video. The Photography Buying Guide is an excellent reference book.
