Sweet story!
Great start to a new series! I loved getting to know these new characters. Kane was a solid, attentive sweetheart who knew what he wanted and had the patience to wait for it. Halley is a troubled, scarred young woman with trust issues who had to figure out herself before being able to move forward. Watching them work through things and Halley come out of her shell was emotional and touching. I really enjoyed meeting their family’s too and can’t wait to learn more about phoebe’s story!
Okay read
Started off promising enough but ended up being a drag. Same recurring issues for the main character to work through which is understandable but without a spark to spice it up I had to come back to it and read it a few chunks at a time. It just didn’t hold my attention.
