Trials Between Love & War

Six people conclude the circle: Kayla, a witch; Mya a geography teacher; Blair, a chemist; Sean, a vampire hunter; Jordan, a surgeon and Mikhail, a vampire. From the time that she arrived at the mansion Kayla and Sean had a strong attraction. Sean soon understands that it's more than that. It's love. He dares not mention those words too early to Kayla. Because of some hurt in the past she won't accept love as easily as he has. He'll work to show her that hurting doesn't put a stop to other feelings. Mikhail hates everything that he is, even more so when he starts to feel something for Mya. Though he tries hard not to feel anything for her he learns that sometimes it's better to give in to your feeling. Mya is annoyed that she is the only one that Mikhail ignores and with the help of Kayla and Blair set out to make him pay attention. Now that she has it, can she do without it when the time comes for him to go? Jordan came to fight in this battle to avenge his sister's death. When he meets Blair, he's attracted. They both are, but how long will it take for them to act on their attraction? Will they ever? Or will the battle still be about avenging the dead?
