In 1983 Ajahn Amaro spent 3 months walking from Chithurst Monastery in Sussex to Harnham Vihara in Northumberland, accompanied by Nick Scott. This book, replete with maps, illustrations and photographs, is a travelogue of that journey, when Buddhism was somewhat new and rare in this country.
