Turning Points and Planet You

Nelson Literacy 9 presents a new approach to English Language Arts. It will captivate students with rich, embedded, interactive media and current, high-impact texts. Nelson Literacy 9 is made up of four units with four different themes. This book is divided between two themes: Turning Points and Planet You.

Turning Points explores stories of life-changing decisions, rites of passage, and negotiating change. Planet You explores stories of identity, self-esteem, self-image, personal interests, influences, and peer groups. The two themes are brought to life using short stories, articles, poetry, animated shorts, ads, graphic texts, reports, interactive presentations, and more.
