Twelve Dates Before Christmas

Twelve Dates Before Christmas is a romantic comedy about Danny, a mid-30s corporate VP in Louisville, Kentucky, who makes the mistake of suggesting an open relationship to his girlfriend, Sandy, just before the holidays. Sandy surprisingly agrees-and Danny soon finds himself without a date for Thanksgiving or Christmas, desperate to avoid showing up alone to his family in Owensboro, who adore Sandy.

What follows is a hilarious and chaotic series of twelve dates-each more disastrous, bizarre, or absurd than the last-ranging from a probation-bound ankle-bracelet beauty, to a compulsive shoplifter, a hippie pothead, a stripper-pole instructor, and even a possible cannibal. All the while, Danny receives mysterious, flirtatious texts from an anonymous "mystery admirer," sparking a side-plot of playful banter and growing curiosity.

As Christmas approaches and his list of failed dates grows, Danny begins to realize he's been selfish and foolish with Sandy, and that he truly loves her. The big twist? The mystery admirer is Sandy all along-testing him after his "open relationship" blunder. In the final act, Danny must face his family's judgment, confess his mistakes, and try to win Sandy back-culminating in a heartfelt proposal and a chance at a fresh start, wrapped in humor, awkward family moments, and holiday spirit.
