Jon Perrin was sexually assaulted at a young age and exposed to unbelievable initiations and hazing while playing junior hockey. Jon was hired as a police officer in 2012 and after responding to numerous traumatic events, Jon was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in June 2019. Jon has opened up about his experiences with mental health and has shared his thoughts and feelings through poetry.
