Cat Sebastian offers up the perfect comfort read for trying times. Two Rogues Make a Right transports us to a cozy, pastoral landscape, where childhood friends Will and Martin reunite after Will learns that Martin is battling consumption all alone and brings him to a rustic cottage where he will try to nurse him back to health. Close proximity brings the two men to the realization that there’s more to their bond than friendship—but in order to save his estate, Martin knows he’ll have to marry an heiress. We felt like guests in these lovers’ charming retreat. This is a wonderfully intimate romance that tackles the subject of realizing one’s sexuality with the care it deserves.

Only One Bed
I received an ARC of this book to read through Edelweiss+ in exchange for a fair review. Two Rogues make a right is the third book in Cat Sebastian’s intriguing Seducing the Sedgwicks series. It can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed the first two books in the series and do recommend them as well. Martin Easterbrook and Will Sedgwick have been best friends all of their lives, and when Will discovers that Martin is deathly ill, he more or less kidnaps Martin taking him out of smoggy London to a gamekeepers cabin on Martins estate and does his best to save his life. As Martin’s health improves, their friendship changes to that of lovers, although both know their time in the cottage is a temporary escape, and soon Martin will need to marry an heiress as the estate he inherited came with a lot of debt. The story was exactly what I needed low angst but just enough conflict to keep things interesting, and two characters who’s happily ever after is so well deserved and delightful to read.
