Young Benjamin works at a shoeshine stand and has the uncanny ability to place himself in another person's shoes. Sees their future, sees their past. He might save them from a future misstep or a tragedy. 

Then a woman who calls herself Persephone steps into his stand and the attraction is instantaneous. But the vision Benjamin sees when he pust himself in her shoes is a startling one.
