Publisher Description

Upfall is a military adventure that begins with an Israeli commando attack on an Iranian nuclear installation and then via usual misadventure places the same unit in eastern Poland in 1942. “Upfall” is a word coined to play on the concept of ascension. The alternate historical situation places the reluctant commandos in a moral and physical universe with little time for reflection and much demand for action. The sayeret liberates death trains and camps (Sobibor, Treblinka, Belzec) it also finds itself on the run across the eastern Polish marches from a rogue’s cast of historical German villains, fighting for their lives and those of thousands of others.
