Arab Reaction to Wikileaks Video The footage is devastating and painful to watch. The video, dubbed "the Wikileaks video" after the Swedish-based whistleblower website that obtained it, has become famous around the world for the brutality of images it shows and the flippancy of its American narrators. For those who are unfamiliar, in video and audio, the leaked clip portrays two pilots of an American Apache helicopter systematically gunning down 12 unarmed civilians walking in an Iraqi square in 2007, among them are two Reuters journalists. The Americans stealthily maneuvered their helicopter in order to get the best possible shot on a group of men standing together in the street of the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad, before opening fire on the men, along with a van that rushed to help them. As it turns out, there were two children also shot. None of the killed were ever proven to have any nefarious motives.
