Using InDesign to adapt plain text for EPUB

This was originally going to be a chapter in EPUB Straight to the Point but was omitted for brevity's sake. It explains how to use InDesign and GREP to remove extra line breaks and spacing, and to convert plain text formatting like underscores and carats into their modern-day counterparts, bold and small caps.
