Victim of Destiny

We live in an era far past reasonable capitalism and uncorrupt governments, when political scandals and unmeasured warfare run rampant. The only way to look up to the skies is through shimmering ecodomes, our guardian angels that sieve every molecule of air we breathe and protect us from the silent, deadly UV rays. We have enough problems to worry about, from our countless battles with nature to depraved presidents, and now, weakened by our disunity, a new threat materializes. Our first encounter has come, and it may very well be our last.
