Great and insightful!
What an awesome book to read. We've chartered many times in the BVIs, the SVGs and the St-Martin area and have been toying with the idea of purchasing a boat with a charter company ourselves, especially as my wife has now retired and if got another five or six years to go. We used many companies, including Moorings, Footloose, Barefoot and BVI yacht charters.
W recently purchased a Catalina 279 (1995) and have her in Montreal, Canada, so we TOTALLY get your frame of mind when winter takes a hold and "Aquaholic 3" must bear winter undercover on her cradle. We long for our charter trips in the Caribbean.
Next trip is set for February or March in Grenada. (SVGs Ae by far our favorite sailing grounds, islands and people, but have always started in St-Vincent and never made it to Grenada. So this time, we're thinking of starting in St-Vincent and drop the boat off in Grenada.
Anyway, back to your book! Loved it. Thank-you so much for writing it!
