Publisher Description
This autobiography is about a woman born in 1934, christened in the Catholic Church and married in 1954. The church did not allow her to marry in front of the Alter unless her intended husband was willing to convert to the catholic faith. He agreed and was instructed with the rules and responsibilities of being a catholic which he had no intention of honoring. She kept her courage, inner strength, integrity, principles and standards through twenty three years of a toxic marriage. She put up with her husband’s living standards by enduring almost uninhabitable housing and was also forced to live in relative poverty. The financial, physical and emotional stress was more than she could bear at times but her strong spirit was never broken. This is a true story about a woman who eventually broke free and changed her life for the better.
