Waves, Sand and a Beach Chair

Rhonda was named after a song from her father's favorite band, The Beach Boys. Unfortunately nothing seemed to be going her way.

Rhonda's mother cheated on her father, causing him to fall into a deep depression. Soon after Rhonda discovers her father after a failed suicide attempt. She then convinces him that they should take a trip to clear their heads and start over.

Her father suggests a private beach house in sunny Florida.

Rhonda notices an attractive boy sitting on a beach chair every morning, reading a book. She becomes obsessed with the boy, only to realize it's the beach chair she's obsessed with.

Rhonda learns the beach chair has a history that will completely change her life.
