Once upon a time, their ancestors did something so ambitious that it changed the world, and ancient bills are coming due.

In Barracheh and across the sea, gods and spirits outraged that humans have given themselves such power, or longing to possess it for themselves, come across borders in numbers. All of them will have to take extraordinary steps in order to ensure that their people will survive. They'll have to change themselves, and even make allies of their enemies.
