Weather…It Matters

A midwest family, while preparing for the annual family reunion, realizes a major storm system is approaching.  Apprehensively, they continue with the visit when the storm hits, and the power goes out for the evening. To pass the time and to calm the children, the parents decide to tell stories about important weather events that they experienced first hand.  By the evening’s conclusion they learned not only the value of understanding weather and other natural phenomena, but also the value of family.
