Sally was desperate for an income. After being retrenched and her funds in the bank dwindling, she had to take the first job she could find. There were no vacancies for marketing managers and she couldn’t be choosy. She landed up working at a pub in the kitchen.

With the owner vanishing overnight, she had to step in and manage. She wasn’t going to let the pub close without trying to help.
