West Point Leadership: Profiles of Courage

This book has won three Benjamin Franklin Awards for "Best Biography", "Best Gift Book" and "Best First Book" from the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). Through a beautifully designed book, the authors convey leadership lessons from the unique life stories of 200 West Point graduates. Using contemporary and historical photographs, the history of the United States comes alive, while the writing is intended to be short, inspirational stories, that each tell a different part of the uniquely American experience from the Revolutionary War through current times, addressing military, political, economic and social issues. Unlike any other history or leadership book, the book is intended to inspire readers to visit West Point and the Hudson Valley, and the last chapter of the book is dedicated to local tourism.
