This textbook should be viewed as a guidebook rather than a comprehensive reference on all things about classroom administration. Although all of the guidelines are research-supported, the goal of this textbook is to provide teachers with a practical, accessible, and engaging reference rather than an exhaustive compendium of classroom administration models and detailed rationales for why certain approaches are highlighted and others are not. Frankly, the models, tips, and guidelines presented in this textbook were selected because of their proven effectiveness in my own classroom or in the classrooms of those with whom I’ve worked or been.

Classroom administration is a demanding and critical component of education, so my focus is to get you to the core of what works.

This textbook has been offered to you at best because the information contained is result of the accomplishments (and failures) of so many teachers, and no one person can lay claim to all of the knowledge and expertise you’ll find in this textbook. Think of this textbook as the teacher next door who is always willing to give you advice and some good ideas for managing your class.

Professor Muhammad Hussein Noure Elahi has also been serving as a representative on the council of Iranian Writers Association, Council of Public Relations Assembly, and has been appointed thereof more than seven years at these posts. He has received many Outstanding Awards from many international universities and conferences. A native of Tabriz, Iran, Professor Muhammad Hussein Noure Elahi has been living in Tabriz for the past forty years. He received his PhD in Educational Administration from Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University in Tehran and his BA in English and MA in Educational Administration from Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, where he began to learn how to think like a native American English teacher and educational administrator and manager and also to appreciate the value of educational administrator and manager perspective for understanding and having effect in changing educators and managers thoughts and mind models.
