Amazing, emotional read
Mira’s story is the last of the Health & Happiness Society’s stories. This is a story about loss and how hard it is for Mira to continuously deal with the losses in her life. From miscarriages to the loss of her parents and husband, Mira has lost so much. In her story we see more loss and pain coming her way, and she tries to deal with it by pulling away from her friends. It hurts her to continue to watch them grow and gain more in their own lives, while she feels only pain and loss in hers. This story is just so heart wrenching and sad, but in the end she realizes that she needs her friends, her “family” more than ever. Katie Cross has taken on such and beautiful emotional journey through all the books in her Health & Happiness Society series that I am really am not ready for it to end.
