Another door opens to a new organization
It's Fall 1993. Operation Quickline, the ultra-secret agency that Lisa Wycherly and Sid Hackbirn worked for, has been folded for two years, putting Sid and Lisa and their friends out to pasture. Life is flat and dull.
Finally, there's a hint of some work recovering a box of top secret files that happens to include a case that Sid and Lisa worked with their son, Nick, in 1987. But then Lisa and Sid get the call that no parent wants to get. Nick has been shot and they rush to Chicago to be near him.
Once Nick is stable, Lisa and Sid start checking things out, and the file on the 1987 case turns up in the luggage of the now-deceased man who shot Nick. Fearing that Nick could be hurt again, they decline the job offer.
But there's a new organization being formed, and Sid and Lisa are tagged to head up one of six teams of elite undercover agents. Their first job? Recover that box of files, a box that's wanted by former KGB turned Russian mobsters and by a group of White Supremacists. With Jesse White, Kathy Deiner, Frank Lonnergan, and Esther Nguyen back together again, it's chaos as usual.
