When We Went to the Moon

A combination of scepticism, sci-fi and also the real issue of damage to our planet from the way human beings live their  everyday lives.

Can one man shock the human race enough to stop them before it is too late?

First set in 1973, When We Went to the Moon is about a secret mission to discover whether or not there was actual life on the moon.

The mission is staffed by 3 men who are not known to the public and the launch is carried out by America, Britain and Russia.

The moon rover has photographed a door in the side of the Apennine Mountain and world leaders believe it to be some kind of alien civilisation.

The three astronauts gain entry to the facility and discover that it is in fact a spaceship which had been populated by humans. Unfortunately

all dead, although the astronauts find a diary and also some technical specifications that suggest the ship has come from the future. 2050

in fact.  One of the astronauts notes at this time that the name of the young man responsible for the diary is one James Larson. Same last name as his.

The three take notes and photographs and along with the written information they have found, go back to Earth to present it all to the Superpowers.

In 2050, people struggle every day just to exist. The planet is ruined by toxic emissions, huge landfills and overpopulation. No real food is produced

and if the children can even get to school, all they learn is about a fairytale earth of animals and plants that they have never seen. God only knows

what they would think of a huge forest of trees bordering a mountain lake, or swimming in a cool, clean ocean .

James Larson gathers together as many people as he can convince and makes a time jump back to the moon in 1950. He has the idea that by the

time the first moon landing occurs in 1969, they will have a thriving colony. His belief is that with their testimony and advances, there will be enough

evidence to slow down the destruction of the beautiful planet they call home.

His plan fails, as the nuclear device that powers the ship renders the population sterile and sick. Everyone perishes before the ship is discovered.

His only hope is that someone will discover his diary and take to heart what he has tried to achieve.

James Larson triumphs, as his Grandfather is one of the three astronauts that take that trip in 1973. Their discoveries mark the turning point for  mankind.

James' discovers through a letter, that he was in fact THE James Larson that risked all to warn the world and make it the better place that it has become.
