Where There Was Darkness

The third book in the Darkness and Light series, Where There Was Darkness begins where Dark Night of the Soul ends.

Waking up from his nightmare, Marcus finds he is not what Gregor made him, but neither is he what he was born to be.  Having kept his promise to keep Gregor from taking another and having no education or skills; he believes he has nothing to offer the people he loves. Marcus, prepared to take his last breathe, is prevented from doing so by Chief Daniels, who helps show him that there are reasons to live.  Gregor, though no longer among the living, seems to walk beside and live within him,  and Marcus is afraid of the monster he may not be able to control.  With Chief Daniels help, he finds a way to use his skills to carve out a path he is proud to walk.
