Publisher Description
This chess puzzle book is written to capture chess history from the adoption of modern rules in 1475 to 2013 when I finished writing it. It only includes real games which ended in puzzles where white won by a forced checkmate in a specified number of moves. I wrote it in mind of both chess laymen and experienced players but it was mostly written by history itself as there are so few examples to draw from for the most famous players.
I evaluated the puzzles and color coded them as green (easy), yellow (intermediate) and red (difficult) although sometimes it's a matter of perspective. I also wrote a brief biography about the famous players focused on their valor at chess. Chess personalities are almost always fascinating and these are the greats!
