Intense and Exciting!
This story starts heavy (with the death of a parent and battling addiction) but ends on a hopeful note. I was absolutely enraptured through this book - Wyn goes through a lot of growth, which is exciting. One thing I found particularly wonderful in this story was the “What Happened Before”, which recaps the last two books and the main people - extremely helpful in reminding me where things are at in the storyline. I’m on pins and needles waiting for Winter Goddess.
Evolution
I’m thoroughly enjoying the way the plot in this series is unfolding. Watching Wyn with her guardians amidst the turmoil within the winter realm and the impending threat of war from the Morrigan kept me sucked into the story. With the final phase of the battle yet to be revealed, I can only imagine how the story will turn out!
