With This Ring I Thee Wed

I could hardly believe I was standing in Grace Cathedral, two feet away from my friend, Peter who I had told in no uncertain terms to go to hell a little over a year ago when he asked me to marry him.
"Will I do WHAT?”
“Matt, will you marry me?”
“Are you crazy? I’m not gay.”
“I know. But, will you marry me?”
I told him to go to hell and walked out.
