Publisher Description

The definitive New Naturalist guide to the ancient, and essential, isopods.

Found on every continent except Antarctica, Woodlice are some of the only land-dwelling species of crustacean. Although these familiar bugs may be small, they play an essential and fascinating role in their habitats: from humus production to identifying heavy metal contamination.
