Customer Reviews
Multiple authors – and it shows
Potted histories can be useful as an introduction, but this particular one isn’t. It jumps around erratically from one episode to the next, throwing names and dates around with wild abandon, leaving the reader with no sense of process or trend, or understanding of what is important and what is not. Even someone who knows the history involved in broad terms is left somewhat dazed and confused. Not recommended.
