This is a good little book for the Ulysses absolute beginner, who is also an aspiring novelist. It gives you basic-level information about using Ulysses in the creation of a novel, which is what it professes.
For me, I would have liked to see more examples of layouts or setups as used in the creation of novels. A little more information on structuring with Ulysses to create a large novel. Perhaps that was outside the author's intent, however.
All that said, I did learn a couple of useful Ulysses tricks that I didn't know before, which made the purchase worthwhile for me.
Simple and straightforward
Covers Ulysses very well with no extra padding.
