The ruggedly handsome Stone Johnson and his three former geology classmates embark on a journey to Wyoming in order to complete their unfinished task from the previous summer. Little do they know that their disgraced and insufferable professor from Eastern Indiana University is on to their scheme, along with help from the director of FBI’s forensic geology department.

The four geologists work together for three days to execute their incredibly thorough and well thought out plan to retrieve the hard earned treasure they left behind the summer before. The plan quickly becomes a fiasco beyond belief on the very first day. They had planned to expect the unexpected, but it turns out that the unexpected already had its own expectations.
