Year 8 Robotics

This ebook is an adaptation of the Bot120 Picaxe-20X2 Microbot PDF produced by Revolution Education and available from picaxe.com.uk and has been adapted to suit the requirements of the six-week, Year 8 Robotics rotation in the Design and Technologies faculty at Brighton Secondary School. Students learn the basics of block-based programming in Picaxe Editor with 17 programs to complete from basic eye commands through to debugging and running a line-tracker program. The final assessment is a consolidation of accumulated skills in a dancing robot program.
