Aussie Christmas Fairy Tale
Touching mix of dealing with a history that cannot be escaped, even with running away to the other other side of the world, as our heroine Regan discovers. Thankfully, childhood friendship triumphs, providing a welcome refuge to begin with, in her and her sister’s friend from eight years earlier, for the twin themes of facing her ’demons’ and coming home, evolving into a sense of belonging and love she has never before experienced.
An easy read with a seasonal setting, the story appeals to the season’s traditions of reunion and shared love. Felix encapsulates a modern male who grapples with being a good guy with his own secrets falling in love while winningly carrying off his attraction to Regan and displaying his respect for women and our heroine’s independence.
