Publisher Description

Learning is a creative, collaborative, mistake-filled process! Tiffany’s own learning as a maths educator has been a culmination of all these things. This book is a glimpse into how she has used iPads in her classroom to help foster young mathematicians.

Tiffany wanted to create an environment where challenge, inquiry, reflection and choice are valued and embraced. And her goal is always to get kids excited and curious about maths.

She shares how iPads in her environment have helped enable differentiated and personal learning. She shows us some of the activities she uses to nurture self-regulated, reflective learners, but also encourages us to be the leader of learning… constantly questioning, at exactly the right moment, nudging learners to delve into new depths of understanding.

If we can enhance learners’ ability to capture, wonder, question, explain, create and reflect on their curious, exciting maths moments, we can help them develop into young mathematicians.
