Your Life Starts Now

Queer YA legend Bill Konigsberg returns to comedy (some romantic, some cringe) with the story of a queer boy running away to find the place that will accept him for who he is.

Ainsley is stuck. He's a queer teen in one of the most Florida parts of Florida. His parents refuse to acknowledge his true existence. There has to be a better place.

Like... London.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Ainsley decides the only way to un-stuck himself is to head to England on the first available cruise ship. He can't afford a ticket, so he has to find another way to get on board. Even if it means an impersonation that sends him straight into the arms of a floating Bible study group. In Your Life Starts Now, acclaimed novelist Bill Konigsberg asks readers to face one of life's key questions: What absurd, hilarious, lying, cheating, anxiety-inducing lengths would you go to in order to finally find happiness and a place you belong?
