A Cuckoo in Winter

Five girls entered the forest. Six came back.

On a bleak winter afternoon, a group of schoolgirls vanishes into the woods. Hours later, they emerge – cold, shaken… and somehow one too many.

They all remember each other. They all swear nothing is wrong. But deep down, they know: one of them doesn't belong.

What begins as doubt spirals into terror as the girls are forced to question their memories, their identities, and their own sanity. Has something infiltrated their minds? Or is the real horror lurking beneath the surface of their shared past?

Years later, a reunion in a quiet, candlelit restaurant reignites the nightmare. The truth is finally within reach – but so is the cuckoo, and it's been waiting a long time to take what it came for.

A Cuckoo in Winter is a chilling psychological horror story about fractured memories, invasive evil, and the terrifying possibility that sometimes the people closest to us are not who they seem.
