A Murder Forever Unsolved

Murder is an age-old thing. Many people believe that crime and violence is a new phenomenon, but people have been killing each other for various reasons for all of recorded history. So it is no surprise that when we look back a few decades we can still find some rather interesting murder cases. People murder for love, money, vengeance, personal advancement, or simply for the fun of it. This case of Beaulah Overell is no exception to those motivations. And even seventy years after the fact, these murders still remain quite exceptional. 
Due to the age of the case the case files are scarce and much of what actually happened is mere journalistic speculation. Much of what is said about what happened has been exaggerated or assumed. So take it all with a grain of salt as we seek to find the facts within the years of fiction.
