Beschreibung des Verlags
In this narrative, Daniel and Akiva, familiar to the reader from the story "Yoni and Shosh", are the investigators. Years have passed. Daniel is now a prophet, but he has not lost his detective skills. Akiva became a brilliant investigator. In the palace of Belshazzar, the king of ancient Babylon, there was a raucous feast. The guests had desecrated the sacred cups of the Temple of Jerusalem. Suddenly, in the midst of drunken revelry, an incomprehensible red inscription appeared on the white wall of the banquet hall. Belshazzar became agitated when he saw the strange signs. A day later his dead body was found at the city gate. Daniel and Akiva solve all the riddles: the reason for the desecration of the cups, the origin of the inscription on the wall, the circumstances of Belshazzar's death. The story uses a motif from a Biblical legend.
