Apocrypha

Apocrypha means “having been hidden away” in Greek. This collection of revered religious works, which have been excluded from the modern editions of the most Bibles are a valuable resource and interesting read.  It includes The First Book of Esdras, The Second Book of Esdras, The Book of Tobit, The Book of Judith, The Greek Additions to Esther, The Wisdom of Solomon, The Wisdom of Jesus the son of Sirach, or Ecclesiasticus, The Book of Baruch, The Epistle of Jeremiah, The The History of the Destruction of Bel and the Dragon, The Prayer of Manasseh, The First Book of the Maccabees, and The Second Book of the Maccabees.
