Bullet the path to revenge is the auto biography of Ashwin Jooste, who was shot 8 times by one of his friends and went seeking revenge. He got caught up in gansgterism and drugs and got involved in crime and violence. Received a 9 year prison sentence at the age of 17 and joined the brutal 26 gang members in prison to survive.

After 4 years in prison he decided to change his lifestyle and only did 5 years of his sentence before being released. Being rejected by the community and not being able to get a decent job he almost fell back into crime, and just when things was finally starting to go his way, the person who shot him was also released from prison.
