Carving the Slopes was entered in the upper primary category of the 2015 e-book writing challenge at Hallett Cove South Primary School, Adelaide, South Australia. It tells the story of a young man who suffers a terrible accident while skiing and has to summon all of his inner strength to overcome the injury.
