Schön fotografiert aber sehr ungesund
Das Buch ist sehr stimmig aufgemacht. Die Bilder sind sehr ansprechend fotografiert. Die Hauptspeisen sind wenig zeitgemäss und sehr reichhaltig. Die Zutaten sind mehrheitlich auf die Sommersaison in Australien abgestimmt.
Die süssen Rezepte bestehen mehrheitlich aus Trifles, Pavlovas und den immer selben Lebkuchenbasis. Dabei sind die Trifles so riesig dass sie in keinen handelsüblichen Kühlschrank in Europa passen. Bei den Lebkuchen besteht die Vielfalt darin unterschiedliche Ausstecher zu benutzen.
