Economic Geography

Economic geography is a branch of human geography. The study focuses on both the world’s physical resources as well as human resources. Economic geography studies the distribution of resources and economic activities across the surface of the Earth. It includes how people use resources, earn a living and how countries are identified by their level of development and standard of living.
