Madeline Whittier, a biracial 18-year-old, has severe combined immunodeficiency, a rare condition that renders her allergic to nearly everything and requires her to live inside a carefully sealed environment. Madeline's contact is limited to her physician mother and her full-time nurse, until handsome Olly moves in next door. Empfehlenswert!
Die zwei Charaktere machten das Buch sehr interessant und man fieberte bei jedem Schritt mit. Ich konnte nicht aufhören das Buch zu lesen & verliebte mich mit jeder Seite mehr und mehr in die Geschichte.
Es wurde realistisch geschrieben und durch die detaillierten Beschreibungen konnte man sich alles gut vorstellen. Das Buch hätte am Ende jedoch weiter gehen können, da einige Fragen noch offen blieben.
Im Grossen und Ganzen empfehle ich dieses Buch jedem weiter, der für Gänsehaut und einige Schmetterlinge im Bauch bereit ist!
