The Veterinary Microscopic Anatomy Review series is a 21-volume set of interactive iBooks to allow a Q&A type review of microscopic anatomy structure and function. The histological sections are taken from multiple domestic species, including the canine, feline, bovine and equine.

In this unit of the series, the adnexa (eyelid, third eyelid, lacrimal gland) of the eye, the eye, and the external and internal ears are examined. The structures that make up the three tunics of the eye and their functions are considered in great detail, including the tapetum lucidum. The structures of the cochlea and vestibule of the internal ear and their functions are also reviewed in detail.
