Fierce Company

Investigative journalist June Raine is trying to uncover a mystery. Her parents died while she was far away making her name in America, but only now does she realise they got mixed up in a world she doesn't understand. Is The Company, to which they have left a huge sum of money, a historical re-enactment society, a seductive role-play, or something more sinister?

Simultaneously, the young men in the small English town to which June has returned are getting swept up by charismatic influencer Chris Skinner and his message of male supremacy. When June meets Adam, 19 years younger then her and already an acolyte of The Company, their connection is dangerous, powerful, and threatens to overwhelm them both.
