Grampy's Bedtime Story

A Story of Freedom of Expression

Beschreibung des Verlags

Benny is ready for bed. His Grampy tucks Benny in bed nice and cozy. But Benny is worried. Worried of telling his friends that he likes playing with dolls when his friends prefer to play with robots. As a solution, his Grampy decides to tell him a bedtime story based on his past of the Koreans’ fight for their freedom of expression from the oppressive Japanese rule.

Using soft yet vivid colored pencil illustrations, this book introduces one of the fundamental human rights, freedom of expression, in a child-friendly way to expose younger students to human rights. Younger students learn to be more confident in expressing themselves which they carry through their adulthood.
