When Jessica Walsh meets a stranger in a café, she is startled by how much they have in common.

The women bond over their shared fears for their sisters, who are both struggling with addiction. There's one crucial difference, though: Jess knows her father would never resort to violence to solve the 'problem', as this woman's father has.

Hours later, Jess receives panicked voicemails from her sister and when she arrives home, Vicky has vanished.

Jess's father insists there is nothing to worry about. He claims Vicky's disappearance is part of a plan to help her get clean. But Jess cannot forget her conversation with the woman in the café, or the chilling similarities between their lives.

As Jess searches for the truth, she is forced to ask: did her sister choose to disappear to get the help she needs? Or did someone make that choice for her?

A tense, twist-filled rollercoaster of a thriller about the desperate search for a loved one and the truths that refuse to stay buried...
