Is This A Mirror??‪?‬

After years of saving money, working overtime, and searching through countless listings, she had finally done it. The house was hers.

The two-story home sat at the end of a quiet street called Willow Lane. It wasn’t enormous, but it was beautiful. Sunlight poured through the tall windows, and the hardwood floors gleamed beneath her feet. Outside, a large backyard stretched toward a line of old oak trees.

It felt perfect.

At least, it had until she noticed the lawnmower.

Sarah frowned and looked out the back window.

Nothing.

The yard was empty.

She turned her attention back to the giant mirror mounted on the far wall.

The mirror had been there when she bought the house. In fact, it had been included in the sale agreement. The previous owners had specifically mentioned it.

“The mirror stays,” the seller had said.

At the time, Sarah hadn’t thought much about it.

Now she wondered why.
